Haley J. Lochan, LCSWHello and thanks for taking time to get to know more about me! As your therapist, I create a safe environment to explore and heal. I am certified in Crisis Intervention and have training and experience counseling a range of areas such as domestic violence, human trafficking, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and complex trauma. I am an LGBTQIA+ ally and enjoy working with individuals of all ages, as well as families, with a particular interest in working with children.
Along with being a Trained Brainspotting Professional, techniques used in treatment may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. I am client-centered and will work to meet the needs of each client by individualizing treatment plans as each client drives his/her/their own process. I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Loyola University of Chicago, specializing in Mental Health and Migrant Studies. Prior, I graduated from Lake Forest College with a dual degree in Psychology and Spanish. My fluency in Spanish has helped to bridge the gap to services for individuals whose native language is Spanish. It is my hope that my energetic and comforting personality will create an environment of calmness and trust that can be expected in each session. It is important to me that everyone lives fulfilled lives, and I have a passion for helping clients heal and grow. Outside of work, I am a wife and mother who enjoys art, learning about new cultures, cooking, and being outdoors. |
